ANG is actually a really good film and I’ll happily accept it as canon in the G4 lore, with theories, hypotheses, and head canons to fill in the gaps. MYM, however, really just f*cked everything up by digging itself into an endless pit of plot holes, not to mention the animation feels like they copied ANG’s models into an engine that couldn’t render them. I actually prefer TYT to MYM because the animation in TYT is charming instead of dogsh1t.

OK, I’m 14 now. OK I watch the original one just a little bit. I never like it. I love the little pictures. I love twilight in her friends mostly but by they’re my girls, but his new not the new version of PewDiePie. We’re not trying at all just here take it hundred years later no it’s not goodstoryline, it is what movie out here not even the same style that we had in the original one you found love with you to the movie. Is it sloppy they don’t know what they’re doing.

They had plenty of ways to continue with G4 in some way or another. They could've given the CMC some adventures as grownups, teaching the next generation, or come up with a whole cast of new characters under Twilight's rule. G5 had so much potential, but they sadly reverted back to the old days of just dangling keys in front of babies instead of focusing on something everyone could enjoy. We can only hope they actually take a step back and focus on good characters, story, animation, etc. like they did with G4, rather then just use it as a crutch to draw in the old fans. Unfortunately, corps never learn.

G6 should either pick up where G4 left off and follow Luster Dawn or be a full reboot that doesn’t send mixed signals about how G4’s lore fits in.

My Theory: When Flurry Heart grew older, her mother, Princess Cadance, told her a story of her mother. Her name was Bright Essence and she and her husband's kingdom fell down after the love potion ensued. Before passing away, Bright Essence's best friend was MistMane, one of the pillars. Cadance told Flurry about how MistMane fell in love with the evil King Sombra and then had a foal together- named Opaline. When MistMane gave birth, she wore the alicorn amulet which made Opaline be born as an alicorn! Opaline met Celestia and Luna but they misunderstood her and left Opaline behind to work on their own magical, royal studies. Opaline grew jealous and she, as a fire alicorn, decided to grow her powers to make herself much stronger. While Twilight hid the three kinds of pony magic in the crystals, far away on the other side of Equestria, Alphabittle and Arya Belleflower were expecting a filly. She was born and then named Misty. She accidentally ventured too far and Opaline found her. She adopted Misty and taught her everything she needed to know. Twilight's plan with the crystals obviously failed and that brings us to present day!! !! ❤❤ ❤❤
